Our Special will be in conjunction with this topic. We shall also give our Home Care Tip and our Referral of the Month. Your comments and suggestions are always welcome!

Air Duct & Dryer Vent Cleaning

Most people have no idea what goes on inside their home’s air ducts. But the fact is, they can become littered with years of accumulated dirt, debris and allergens like pollen, dust and pet dander.
Industry standards recommend that you have your air ducts inspected every 2 years for cleanliness. Frequency of cleaning depends on several factors, not the least of which is the preference of the home owner. By having your air ducts cleaned regularly, you’ll help improve the indoor air quality in your home, and enhance the efficiency of your heating/cooling system, which may reduce energy bills. Raysco Inc’s technicians use one of the most powerful and effective air duct cleaning systems on the market today. This allows us to clean all types of duct work and air duct systems. Our air duct cleaning methodology follows the guidelines of the National Air Duct Cleaners Association (NADCA), and with the expert advice from your air duct cleaning technician, you can count on us. So give us a call today at 702-837-4814 to obtain your free, no obligation quote today!

Dryer Vent Cleaning:

Lint and debris can build up in the clothes dryer vent blocking air flow and creating potentially hazardous conditions including the possibility for an exhaust fire or carbon monoxide intrusion (gas clothes dryers). “The U.S. Fire Administration, National Fire Data Center reports that there are over 12,700 home fires per year associated with clothes dryer fires resulting in 15 deaths and 300 injuries, and 88 million dollars in property loss.
Most homeowners do not have the equipment to clean a dryer vent properly. Raysco’s technicians use the same powerful vacuum equipment for your dryer vent as we do when we clean for your heating/cooling air duct system. We utilize high pressure air and specialized tools to dislodge the dirt and debris from long vent runs, crevices, elbows and bends, cleaning the entire length of the vent from the dryer to the outside of your home.

Quote of the Month

“Knowledge comes, but wisdom lingers. It may not be difficult to store up in the mind a vast quantity of facts within a comparatively short time, but the ability to form judgments requires the severe discipline of hard work and the tempering heat of experience and maturity.” – Calvin Coolidge

Monthly Home Care Tip-
How to keep that clean Dryer Vent clear:
1)Always thoroughly clean lint filter before each load.
2) Most people assume their lint traps catch all the lint, and that all they need to do is clean them out after each load. However, a significant amount of this lint is not caught by the lint trap and builds up inside the dryer-even on the heating element! If you are skeptical, try this experiment: pull out the lint trap and look underneath it- you may find large mounds of lint staring at you.
3)Load dryer properly. An overloaded dryer cannot function as intended.
